Brian Kilcourse has been playing music in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. He
and his band Slim Chance & The Guilty Saints are currently gigging in the
East Bay Area, and are featuring many of Brian's original tunes. Brian
has been part of the San Francisco music scene since the early 70's, when he was
one-third of the SF-based "power trio" Mistress, featuring guitarist
Greg
Douglass (later of Steve Miller and Greg Kihn fame).
He was “Slim Chance”
in the country/rock band Slim Chance & the Fabulous Questionnaires
from 1980 to 1996. Brian also gigs locally with The Retro Rockers, who play covers from the 60's through the 90's.
In 1995, the German
record label TAXIM released the 1974 Mistress album, FREEFLYTE, and as a result of the
positive feedback, Brian was encouraged to start recording again as a solo
artist. MEGATON MELODIES is a collection of the best of Brian's work from
1997-2002 was released in 2003.
Brian's 2005 release, UNFINISHED BUSINESS, is now available with Brian's other work on CDBABY.
