Brian is one of the managing partners for Retail Systems Research, which was founded in June, 2007 by Brian, Paula Rosenblum, Nikki Baird, and Steve Rowen,  all long time retail industry observers and practitioners.  RSR provides insight into business and technology challenges facing the extended retail industry, and thought leadership and advice on navigating these challenges for specific companies and the industry at large.

Kilcourse is also senior partner of BEK CONSULTING, providing domain expertise in the area of retail IT strategies.  His clients include venture capital firms and new  technology companies who are targeting the retail vertical.  He is also currently on the advisory boards for Borland and The Azzarello Group.
